Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals supplies an UV initiator for the processing of unsaturated polyester resins, vinyl ester resins and (meth)acrylate resins. UV initiators are a special group of products used as a radical source for the polymerization process of thermoset resins. The radicals are generated by means of UV-light. The primary area of application is thin layer acrylic coatings.
