In certain regions Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals supplies a number of release agents, which are recommended to prevent thermoset products from sticking to the mold or the application surface. Using the release agents during processing, the finished products can be removed from the application surface or mold much more easily. Release agents do not take part in final polymerization reaction.
