Armoslip® High Purity Fatty Amides
Armoslip CP, an oleamide, and Armoslip HT, a hydrogenated oleamide, can be used as processing aids for elastomers. They will reduce the compound viscosity, thus improving mixing, extrusion and calendaring behavior of elastomeric compounds. Moreover, the reduced friction and consequential improved flow properties result in decreased mold contamination and easier demolding.
In vulcanized end-products, a thin film of Armoslip on the surface is formed by continuous migration out of the bulk of the finished products. This provides an excellend slip and antiblocking performance.
