Akzo Nobel offers a number of organic peroxides, such as Perkadox® IPP and Trigonox® ADC, for use in the manufacture of diethylene glycol bis(allyl carbonate)-based optical lenses. These organic peroxides are available in different phlegmatizers and at different concentrations.

The main initiators used in the manufacture of optical monomers, Perkadox IPP and Trigonox ADC, are - in pure form - amongst the most critical types of organic peroxides. They can, however, be handled and stored safely when proper precautions are followed.

Formulations with other phlegmatizers or concentrations other than those indicated in the product list can be made available with due observance of safety characteristics and the appropriate environmental and transportation regulations.
