Akzo Nobel also offers a range of aluminoxanes for use in single-site catalyst technology, which promises to revolutionize the polymer industry.
Metal alkyls are used in the oligomerization of ethylene, dimerization and cyclodimerization of olefins and dienes, and ring opening polymerization as well.

Metal alkyls are important materials in selected pharmaceutical and fine organic synthesis applications and are especially useful in stereospecific reduction, alkylation and amidation reactions. Some of our products are presently used in the production of some of the world's blockbuster drugs.
High Purity Metalorganics
In addition, we supply a range of high purity metalorganics to the semiconductor industry. These High Purity Metalorganics (HPMO) are used to manufacture devices and integrated circuits for the optoelectronic and electronic industries. The business trades under the name Akzo Nobel HPMO.
