Akzo Nobel offers several organic peroxides and one C-C initiator, Perkadox 30, that can be used as flame retardant synergists. The flame retardant synergists allow you to use lower amounts of flame retardant agents while maintaining the same level of flame retardancy.
The flame retardant synergists are particularly suitable for polymers such as expandable polystyrene.
