Effective July 15, 2007 or as contracts allow, Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals will implement a price increase of 0.20 Euro/kg.  This increase is effective for all customers in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.

Products involved in this increase will be all MEK and cyclohexanone peroxides.  This price increase is necessary to offset recent higher raw material costs, especially the phthalate derivatives.

Organic peroxides are initiators used in the thermoplastic production and Thermoset resin curing and elastomer crosslinking applications. Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals produces these products in various plants around the globe.
