Effective May 1, 2007, or as contracts allow, Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals is increasing the price for solid peroxydicarbonates (trade names: Perkadox® 16, Perkadox 16S, Perkadox 24(L) and Perkadox 26) globally by eight percent (8%).

The price increase is to offset significant and sustained cost increases and to compensate for higher transportation and logistic costs. Due to their hazardous nature these products require transportation in a specialized container fleet.
